Bub's Bunny
Bub's bunny is finally finished! What a fun little project this was! It knitted up to quickly in super soft Malabrigo and it felted perfectly! I made some adjustments to the eyes because this thing needs to be super kid proof. I did french knots over white felt, glued on, triple knotted to make sure they are staying in place! I hope she loves her little bunny that mommy made!
And I finished another project this weekend! My first full pair of socks (and they actually fit, perfectly!) I admit, these things took quite some time, but I got it right! I'm very happy and impressed with how well handknit socks fit and feel! I can't wait to start my second pair! Hopefully this next pair will go a lot faster! These were just a simple two socks on two circs pattern, made with Knitpicks Simple Socks in Vineyard (color now discontinued). You might notice that the colors are backwards, which I think gives them lots of character. The brown is in the same place, but the tan and wine color are flip flopped. Proof they are handmade!
